Today's Class and Tonight's Homework 3/28/2016

Agenda
Objective:

1) Check-In! You were to have your research homework for me to look at today (this was assigned last Wednesday) and I also gave credit for your Exemplar Activity from Thursday's class since I was absent.  You were then given one of two homework options due for this Wednesday.
    1.  If you were to have typed your three body paragraphs for today, I now need you to begin working on your intro and closing paragraphs (use the exemplar activity directions to help you, as well as your Hook/Grabber and Clincher worksheets!)  Please add your intro/closing paragraphs to your typed body paragraphs for Wednesdays class!

    2. If you were to have your body paragraphs typed and were to begin work on your intro/closing paragraphs for todays class, please finish your intro/closing paragraphs (use the exemplar activity directions to help you, as well as your Hook/Grabber and Clincher worksheets!) and add them to your typed body paragraphs for Wednesday!

2) Literature Circle Prep
    I am SO excited to begin our Literature circles today, ultimately a fun book group activity.  You were given a packet to guide you the next two weeks in your lit circles.  You chose from the following book titles, "Courage & Defiance", "Sarah's Key", "In My Hands", and "Number the Stars". If you were absent today you will have the opportunity to pick your book as soon as I see you again!  Students then created a reading schedule that they agreed upon and work in their circles will continue tomorrow!
So to summarize :-)
