Please make sure that you have a rough draft of your essay completed for Monday. If you are typing it, you NEED to print it out.
We will use this rough draft for a peer edit activity. What does this REALLY mean?
**You need to make sure you have all three paragraphs on your paper (not looking for "completed" paragraphs)
** I'm looking for your hook/grabber sentence and your thesis in the intro paragraph
**I'm looking for the answers to your research questions (who is your animal?, why endangered?, what are we doing to help?) in the body paragraph
**I'm looking for a closing/clincher sentence
This is a ROUGH rough draft....which is OK! The peer edit will help a ton Monday!!

*DO NOT hand your graphic organizer to your peer editor tomorrow
*DO NOT hand your cell phone to your peer editor tomorrow to read your draft on googledocs, they can't write on your phone! :)

REMEMBER
You need to include a Works Cited page in your essay. This will be the last page of your essay. It doesn't require a heading, however, it does need the title of "Works Cited." Make sure you use easybib.com to create the citations for this page.

Need some help crafting a hook/grabber for your essay? Here are some resources that you may find beneficial!
What about clincher assistance? Anyone in the need for that? Try some of these strategies on for size!
This site is really good because it shows how to connect your clincher to your grabber. You have to scroll down to find the clinchers, but they're on there!
