This week - April 24-28

Research Research Research!!!

Monday & Tuesday - Before April vacation you were given a peer edit handout addressing just the three body paragraphs found in a research paper.  Today and tomorrow you will pair up with the SAME peer editor you chose before break and continue working on your editing/conferencing with each other/revising.

HW - Revise your research paper every night to reflect the edits YOU and your EDITOR spoke about ;-)

HW - Keep thinking about which Take Action component (PSA, poster, flyer) you will be jumping into...more on this on Wednesday!


Wednesday - Peer Edit Activity addressing the Opening and Closing paragraph.  When you and your editor are done with this step you will move into working on your Take Acton proposal.  All proposals need to be "OK'ed" by me before you jump into your work!


Thursday & Friday - Math Mcas/Finishing Team Project

This week - Monday April 10 - Thursday April 13

BUSY WEEK!!!

Monday/Tuesday - ELA MCAS in the morning, team project in the afternoon.

Wednesday - Research Attack!!  Today we will write our thesis statement and begin working on our closing paragraph in your outline.  HW - Update your rough draft tonight, print it out and bring it with you to class tomorrow.

Thursday - Research Peer Edit - focus will be directed towards your three body paragraphs.

I presented the "Take Action" component of your research assignment to you and the options you can consider.  Please begin working on your choice, you will have more time over break then you EVER will when we come back!
