The Week of November 16-20

All week we are working on our culminating assessment for the Poe unit by choosing a work we read in class, modernizing it, and recording it.
Student groups can choose from the following Poe pieces - Annabel Lee, The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart or The Masque of the Red Death.
 The following literary elements need to be represented - theme, mood, tone, setting, symbolism.

Projects are due in class on Tuesday, November 24 where we will watch your work in action!!

Objective: To finish clicking and clunking with "The Raven" as well as having an accountable talk discussion about it.

1) Take-One Warm-Up: Fold a piece of computer paper in half, Label the left side "First Chunk of The Raven", the right side "Second Chunk of The Raven", illustrate what's going on in those two chunks

2) Finish "The Raven"
